Suitable for ‘Fair Use’, or ‘Fair Dealing use (e.g internal news gathering, internal research analysis, text, and data) by large or multi-national corporation (involved in automotive, insurance, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, technology, etc..), banks, investment services, hedge funds, quantitative funds (quants), discretionary fund managers, trading shops, market-marketers, financial technology services/users (FinTech), KYC/AML services, media monitoring organisations and measurement services, public relations and marketing agencies, plus national and multi-national government and non-government agencies. 

Full Feed Pricing:

Pricing starts at $10,000 p/month (for the full SyndiGate Global News Firehose), with a minimum 12 month term of agreement, delivered via FTP or API. 

Filtered Feed Feed Pricing: 

Pricing starts at $1,250 p/month (for certain countries, or topics, or geographies, or news languages etc.), with a minimum 12 month term of agreement, delivered via FTP or API. 

API Fixed Pricing:

An API set-up/access fee of $1,250 p/month (with no content), with a minimum 12 month term of agreement. For access to the full SyndiGate Global News Firehose, again, pricing starts at $10,000 p/month.

API Variable Pricing: 

This pricing option may suit certain customers with limited budgets, or where they don’t want to pay a fixed license fee for certain content they won’t use. An API set-up/access fee of $1,250 p/month (with no content), with a minimum 12 month term of agreement, plus variable API call charges, where each filter applied (e.g. a keyword, country, topic, industry, location, news language, publication name etc.), plus each full text story retrieved and displayed from the search results is considered x1 API call. For example, if a customer were to build a search using the API and include x1 country, x1 topic, x1 country and x1 news language as part of Subscriber’s search criteria and then the Subscriber clicked on one search result  to display the full-text story, the number of API Call Charges billable would be would be x5. SyndiGate will aim to charge customers $0.50 per API call (with volume based discounts). So by using the example search above, the customer would be billed $2.50 for the search and x1 full-text story. However, SyndiGate will bill Subscribers in blocks of 10,000 API call requests (i.e. $5,000).

As standard, the SyndiGate Global News Firehose comes with basic metadata, including but not limited to source name, source type (e.g. newspaper, blog etc.), author, story URL, date, language, country etc.  Where customers need more advanced or specialist metadata (processed in real-time), whereby stories are ‘enriched’ utilising text analysis and NLP engines, this is a paid-for add-on service. Example enrichments include (but are not limited to) Entity Extraction (e.g. companies, subjects, topics etc.), Entity Disambiguation, Classification By Taxonomy, Sentiment Assignment, Identification Standards etc.

Pricing: Upon Request, depending on volume, enrichment types, API calls etc.

Example: TextRazor offers a PRO package = $1,200 p/month for up to 120,000 API requests p/day. TextRazor don’t charge you for using extra functionality in one request – one request allows you to run spelling correction, entity extraction, topic tagging, or any of TextRazor’s other extractors on a single document. TextRazor also offer a CUSTOM package for customers that need millions of API requests p/day.

The SyndiGate Global News Firehose comprises over 3.7M stories per day. So, where we have a client that needs filtered content by topics, companies etc, we will only need to process and deliver a sub-set (way less than 1M) of the ‘enriched’ content.
